Wife’s friend is a total beotch…help!?
One of my best friends married a gal several years ago. At first we kind of liked her, then we started getting a sense that she could be a bit snappy from time to time. Finally, she and her husband had a setback in life while her husband was away for awhile on business, and during that time she turned into this total freak, constant put-downs, disrespectful comments. I just got done hanging out for 72 hours straight with this woman and I almost confronted her in front of her husband after some snide remark. I’m ready to tell her like it is, but worried about my relationship with my friend. Thoughts?
Actually, we tend not to hang out with this woman since my wife simply can’t stand her. My friend invited me on an outing several months ago, and I didn’t want to refuse. That explains the 72 hours. It gets irritating to have to always avoid this woman when I want to hang out with my friend.
Sounds like she either doesnt like you or she doesnt like her husband having any friends. If someone kept making snide remarks and put downs to me I would just straight out ask them (after a remark) what is the deal with the snide remarks and put downs? Did I do something to offend you? Shes trying to bully you using this technique and you can either let her or confront it when it happens.
