What dvd player will resume playing when you turn it back on?

I have a Memorex that doesn’t resume playing where I left off before the player turned off. And it also turns itself off after 30 minutes or so of being paused. It’s very annoying. Anyone have a specific dvd brand that does this? I tried searching for “multi-disc resume” dvd players but it just brought up blu-ray players and dvd players that can hold 40 dvds at a time. I just want to play one regular dvd and be able to start where I left off.
To bbt91945: you’re completely wrong. My friends have an older dvd player that resumes playing where you left off when you turn it back on. I’ve been there and turned the dvd player off and then turned it back on hours later to have it play where we were last watching. Unfortunately the player isn’t made anymore. Don’t leave answers if you don’t know what you’re talking about.
