preparation for the puppy to come hunting techniques?
I have five and half months female.when basset hound that I am older and mature enough I took him to the dog show, and I want to assess their hunting skills and reaction of the gun. if I decide one day to breed my dog I want to have the grades on their papers. I want to know is how to better prepare a dog of these disciplines. I know that part is instinctive, but how to train and prepare dogs hound or any other hunting dog for that matter. those with hounds makes it look so easy even I have a friend who has a brritany spaniel, and has almost no preparation to all.and had very good grades and was a good hunting dog (shes older), and all based on instinct – without training. My Basset shows great personalities fighter strong coz his parents are pure hunting dogs (father of hunting wild pigs is 45 kg of fat). I will not be hunted, but as a dog owner I think it should Hunting be valued for what shes worth.
I do not know why you think going to a dog show will help with training your dog to hunt rabbits, but I use beagles.the hunt.i best way to train your hunting dog is hunting with someone who has trained the dog and let the older dogs him.if train your dog to be very good, it will acquire a great reputation and leave the wood hunters who want a puppy to your dog and can be raised or only after enough people interested in having offspring.i say its good luck, but because people prefer Bassets because they get tired and lazy after a short period beagles people prefer hunting.most
