Is Canada planning on getting rid of the visa law for mexicans any time soon?

Is the visa law recuiring Mexicans to get a visa before going to Canada only temporary? Do they have any plans to get rid of this law???

Why would they get rid of it. It was there because once the US started cracking down on illegal aliens from Mexico, many of them went to Canada because of their lax laws. It is likely going to be permanent.

However, if you think US enforcement of immigration law is weak, Canada is a joke. It is a ridiculously easy border to walk across, and they don’t deport many people. You can go north and get a job for 80K a year working on the oil fields, they are recruiting.
