Last Ridge

How can I go about losing the last of my lower belly fat?
Im 6ft tall. I use to weigh 205pnds, but i now weigh 177pnds. I lost 33 pounds by running 6 days a week for 80-90 minutes and eating very healthy, as well as drinking large amounts of water everyday.
Im now down to a healthy weight for a 22 yr old who is 6ft tall @ 177pnds. The only thing is…i have that little ridge of belly fat left on the lower part of my stomach, right above my pants line, but its not a part of love handles or anything, because I do not have them.
How do I get rid of that little bulge? Do I run more? Do I work out and do crunches more? Reason I ask is I dont want to lose a lot more weight to get that super defined look because ill end up being like 165 or something and I think thats too thin, ill end up looking frail.
I now weightlift 3-4 times a week, and im thinking of just running those 2-3 other days for 80 minutes, will that do it?
try doing crunches they always work. the best kind of crunches are the bicycle kind . that gives the best effect.

Last Ridge, The (DVD) $15.93 During World War II, the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division embarked on a true 'mission impossible', giving new meaning to the phrase 'uphill battle'. This compelling documentary recounts their remarkable history as a legendary alpine fighting force. Although 10th soldiers were superstars, they quickly learned that winter, mountains and the invincible German Army were a deadly combination. The 10th Mountain Division’s claim to fame begins with the Germans entrenched in Italy's heavily fortified mountaintops, blocking the Allied advance. After losing 15,000 soldiers attempting to capture this critical high ground, U.S. Army brass called up the 10th Mountain Division, and the rest is history. The 10th Mountain turned the tide for the Allies in Italy, revolutionized winter mountain warfare, and inspired a new generation of soldiers. Running Time: 101 min During World War II, the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Division embarked on a true “mission impossible,” giving new meaning to the phrase “uphill battle.” This compelling documentary recounts their remarkable history as a legendary alpine fighting force. Although 10th soldiers were superstars, they quickly learned that winter, mountains and the invincible German Army were a deadly combination. The 10th Mountain Division’s claim to fame begins with the Germans entrenched in Italy’s heavily fortified mountaintops, blocking the Allied advance. Today’s extreme sports have nothing on the 10th. The 10th invented extreme sports – and then used that skill and determination in battle. The Last Ridge takes an active history approach to appeal to younger viewers, weaving together re-creations, eyewitness accounts, 3-D animation, archival footage and newly discovered letters. The film also looks at how the current 10th Mountain Division continues the legacy, featuring 10th soldiers patrolling in Afghanistan, and the wounded recuperating in Army hospitals. The 10th Mountain story begins during backbreaking training. Soldiers lived outdoors in extreme cold for weeks at a time shouldering 40 kilo backpacks at altitudes over 4,000 meters. There were no tanks, no trucks, no jeeps. Just the men, their skis and whatever they could carry. Narrated by National Public Radio’s Scott Simon Special Features: • Meet The Men of the 10th Mountain • Training Scenes • Colorado Mountain Aerials • War Stories • Italian Choir • Afghanistan Patrol • Walter Reed Hospital • Commentary by Last Ridge Author |

The Last Ridge by Jenkins, McKay Edition , 0 $13.99 The Last Ridge is the breathtaking story of how one man’s vision, and the sheer courage of the legendary 10th Mountain Division, helped change the course of World War II in Europe. Among the war’s countless acts of bravery and sacrifice, this one stands out, and McKay Jenkins brings it to life in his riveting account.–Senator John McCain The 10th Mountain Division was the only American Alpine unit to fight during World War II, and its heroic and daring exploits during the final months of the Italian campaign are fully documented by McKay Jenkins in this stirring, first-rate account of men at war.–Carlo D’Este, author of Eisenhower: A Soldier’s Life Stymied by army bureaucrats, forced to climb snowfields without ice axes or crampons, trained in skills that were never properly exploited, the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division nonetheless became the stuff of myth. Without McKay Jenkins’s meticulous research, the achievements and eccentricities of this remarkable group of men could easily have been forgotten. Instead, they have been brought to life.–Anne Fadiman, author of The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down Few have written about the Army’s elite 10th Mountain Division, and no one has done so as dramatically and with such passion and insight as McKay Jenkins. The perfect war story has, at long last, found the perfect storyteller.–Andrew Carroll, editor of War Letters: Extraordinary Correspondence from American Wars The Last Ridge is one of the very best books yet written about any part of the World War II story. My friend the late Stephen Ambrose would be proud of this work about one of the most fascinating yet little-known records ofthe mountain ski patrols–both in war and in the peacetime that followed.–Senator George McGovern The Last Ridge is a great untold story of mountaineering and war. It’s a terrific read, sharp with characters, full of real drama, and, best of all, it’s true.–Richard Preston, author of The Hot Zone The Last Ridge, based on skillful interviews with the survivors, is a fine account of a great story, long overdue in the telling, and very well told.–Peter Matthiessen, author of The Snow Leopard |

The Last Ridge by Jenkins, Mckay Edition ILL, 0 $20.49 When World War II broke out in Europe, the American army had no specialized division of mountain soldiers. But in the winter of 1939–40, after a tiny band of Finnish mountain troops brought the invading Soviet army to its knees, an amateur skier named Charles Minot “Minnie” Dole convinced the United States Army to let him recruit an extraordinary assortment of European expatriates, wealthy ski bums, mountaineers, and thrill-seekers and form them into a unique band of Alpine soldiers. These men endured nearly three years of grueling training in the Colorado Rockies and in the process set new standards for both soldiering and mountaineering. The newly forged 10th Mountain Division finally faced combat in the winter of 1945, in Italy’s Apennine Mountains, against the seemingly unbreakable German fortifications north of the Gothic Line. There, they planned and executed what is still regarded as the most daring series of nighttime mountain attacks in U.S. military history, taking Mount Belvedere and the sheer, treacherous face of Riva Ridge to smash the linchpin of the German army’s lines.Drawing on unique cooperation from veterans of the 10th Mountain Division and a vast archive of unpublished letters and documents, The Last Ridge is written with enormous warmth, energy, and honesty. This is one of the most captivating stories of World War II, a blend of Band of Brothers and Into Thin Air. It is a story of young men asked to do the impossible, and succeeding. From the Hardcover edition. |

Now if only she can keep him interested permanently. Ridge can"t believe it when the woman he"s quietly lusted after for a year shows up dressedor rather undressedto drop any man to his knees. Instead of worrying about winning a bid after losing the last two under strange circumstances he whisks her to his place to demolish any notion she might have of changing her mind. Then it becomes clear why his company is losing bids-there"s a mole planted in their midst. Ridge suddenly has to question Morgan"s sudden transformation from faithful P.A. to office vixen.
