Lamentations Live
Where in the New Testament did a man of God erect a building and slap the word church on the front of it.?
God only had one building erected for himself and that was in the Old Testament. He didn’t ask for it but after talking with David, he allowed Solomon to build it. God himself gave up that building in Lamentations (giving it over to the enemy). And all throughout the Old Testament he had his people tear down all the other little altars that were popping up because again he only had one building that he had built for himself. Since the beginning it has always been God’s way or the highway. He said this was the way it was going to be in everything. If his ways never change and there is nothing new under the sun. What will all the different Christian religions of this world be able to say that would possibly be able to convince God that the way they live their life is according to what he wrote. There is nothing in the Bible to support what religion does. Other than the one Solomon built and God renounced in the old testament, where did God ever have another building erected for himself.
Yes I know, the Church isn’t about the building. Still try having a Church meeting outside in New York in -10 degree weather….
